This page will include Colt Firearms and
Colt Company Products that we find for
resale. A collector friend of mine
once told me long ago that the only
thing worth more than gold was the
amount of original blue on an old Colt.
I always tried to find the best and now,
from time to time, I'll include one or
two of those treasures from my own

Colt 1902 Sporting Model
Semi-auto Pistol
HC0201
... Colt Semi-auto Pistol
Model 1902 Sporting, blue,
6" bbl. and chambered in .38
ACP with hard rubber
checkered grips. This pistol
was manufactured in 1905,
has the early, case colored
high hammer, fire-blue
screws & trigger and the
brass firing pin. The
serial number is 80xx with
the condition of barrel as
excellent, overall about 70%
blue remaining on slide and
frame and grips as near
perfect. This is John
Browning's first successful
patented semi-auto pistol
and led to the popular 1911
  Colt
model. The action and
workings of this gun are
excellent but being over 100
years old one would expect
some bluing loss and some
corrosion in spots, there is
that here with this gun.
The faded or worn areas have
turned brownish and a few of
the screws and pins show
use. Still a very nice
addition to a collection,
they are not as available as
they once were and this is
one
  of
the rather early guns.
We have it priced at
$3900.00 ... BUY NOW.
Just put some 1911's on my
Investment Gun Page.

Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, 1937 Mfg. First Generation .38 Sp.
CL5121 ... Colt Revolver, Single Action Army, Model 1873, First Generation in .38 Special caliber. The serial number is 355629, listed as a curio, in full nickel with 7½" barrel and black rampant colt grips. In as new condition and possibly is unfired but there is no guarantee that some rounds have not been discharged over the past
68 years or so. However, there are two spots of flaking, one on the left
side of hammer, the other on the loading gate. The back strap shows several
nicks and scratches. No letters are generally available in this serial range as I believe all were destroyed in a Colt fire. There were only 25
made in this caliber and only a few in this configuration ever manufactured according to Colt records.
I've had a lot of inquiries
on this fine
revolver, a lot from Europe
where I can't ship this to
because of the caliber and quite
a few from the USA
by folks who don't realize
what the price is going to
be. This is a fantastic
piece! The original, perfect
grips, matching of course,
have been in place so long
that the serial numbers of
the backstrap and trigger
guard have embedded into the
right inner
grip. The
blemishes
on the backstrap can no
doubt be removed with
professional polishing but I
leave that to the next
owner. This is from
my own collection and if I had to keep one rare Colt SAA in my collection, this
would be it, FFL required ... Price is
always on the rise ...POR. ... Inquire NOW.

Colt Double Action .41 cal. Thunderer Model of 1878,
Engraved
CO 9102 ... Colt Revolver, .41 Caliber Double Action, Model of 1878 Thunderer with 5" barrel. This serial number 981xx was made in 1895 with case colored frame and blued cylinder, barrel and grip straps. All numbers match except the old ivory grips are not numbered. There is engraving on the cylinder and on the rear of barrel that may or may not be original, I do not have a letter on this piece. The cylinder bores are excellent and the barrel bore is very fine. The action works excellent. The colors have
grayed on frame with little showing. Trigger guard and grip straps bluing are about 85 to 90%. The barrel bluing has thinned, it may have been touched up with bluing, hard to tell. Overall the feel and look of the gun is excellent, the old ivory lends well to its' turn of the century use. No doubt by some Yukon Gold Rusher or Railroad Bandit ... well, you never know! That's
part of the beauty of this gun collecting world. Anyway, anyone should be pleased with this old piece of American History. We have it priced right at $2495.00. ... BUY NOW.

Colt
Model 2000 NIB First
Edition, BK Serialized
CL5112
... This is the Colt
Company try at new
technology and design with
their Model 2000 double
action, semi-auto pistol
in 9mm Parabellum.
This one is marked
"First Edition"
and is New in the Box, the
aluminum frame version
with a 4 1/2" barrel and 15 round high
capacity magazine. The BK
prefix in the serial
number of the first 3000
is to commemorate the
designer Reed Knight, this
one is BK02987. All of
these guns were recalled
by Colt for an adjustment
and somewhere I have a
letter that I received to
this effect. I never sent
this one back, it has been
in my collection since
shipped from Colt in 1993.
This model was only made
from 1991 to 1993 and
finding them in this
condition and unaltered is
rare. There is a
slight rubbing of the
bluing on the top rail
from box wear but not very
noticeable, otherwise in
as new condition.
The outer box has some
edge wear, the blue
plastic case is new and
contains the instruction
book and unused cleaning
brush. There is one
magazine for the gun and a
 loader.
The three dot sighting
system, light weight of 33
ounces and fine grip feel
with excellent pointing
capability were fine
features of this new model
and thoughts of taking
this new design into the twenty-first
century abounded within
the Colt Company.
Manufacturing the design
proved too much for Colt
and they returned the
design and tooling to Reed
Knight and discontinued
the pistol. Your chance to
own one is here and now
with this offering and we
have it priced with the
stated purpose that this
gun is for collecting only
and not to be fired
unless proven
satisfactorily safe by
Colt Company as per their
recall for any adjustments
that should be
made. Our price is $1195.00

Colt Single Action Army 1873 in .45
Long Colt
We have just been consigned
a very fine Colt 1873 SAA
with 5 1/2" barrel in
.45 LC caliber. This gun
with serial number 3379xx is
classed by collectors to be
in the late smokeless powder
range for 1920 to 1940
because of the number being
only on the frame. However,
this Colt was made in 1919
so is a transition variant
to that rule. The
 same
number is also on the grip
frame under the period stag
grip but not on the
cylinder. There is little
screw deformation and the
gun is in overall excellent
condition with most blue and
most case color though a bit
fading. An honest gun
in a great
  caliber.
This is a consignment piece
and the owner has priced it
right at
$2900.00 ... BUY NOW.

Colt Black Powder .36 cal. 1861 Navy Revolver in Box ~ Signature Series
C00910 ... This is the authentic Colt 1861 Navy that was made in Brooklyn, NY and serial numbered in sequence of the 1861 Colt's made in Hartford, CT during the Civil War and later. It is made and marked as the originals were and should not be confused with the word "copy" or "reproduction" but rather is new manufacture in contemporary times, 1981. The serial number is 43772 and is one of the last made. The specifics are those of the original Hartford Colts. This appears unfired and is in as new condition but I am sure
a handling mark can be found somewhere. It comes with the original box and inserts and paperwork, all unused. Even if you can afford the $50,000 or so that this gun in this condition would warrant if made in the 1860's, you would still be able to find room for this, the last
of the originals, in your collection. There is no FFL required or licensing required on antique or
percussion guns as this is. We just got this in and
have it priced at $1095.00 ... BUY NOW.

Colt Black Powder .36 cal. 1861 Navy Revolver
C00912 ... This is the authentic Colt 1861 Navy revolver that was made to look like an original Civil War Era weapon. In reality it is the same as the Signature Series Colt above but was faked by changing the
back strap and
renumbering the parts to match the rest of the gun and the cylinder. Then "aged" a bit and pawned off as a real Civil War gun. It is a real Colt but one that was made a hundred years later. It surely does have "the look" and would make a nice wall piece for the den or office
or re-enactor's gun on hip or display. I bought this a little too quick among a collection of antique guns but eventually worked out a satisfactory outcome. Well, now we have it here for sale for what it is serial number 14409, .36 caliber Navy but as an altered Signature Series Colt. On closer inspection it appears unused and unfired. The only part changed
was
the back strap that had the "Signature Series" logo on it. To get my
money back I
have this priced at
$1500.00 ... BUY
NOW.
Fool your friends with

36895 and the specifics are those of the original
Colts. This appears unfired and is in as new condition but I am
sure
a handling mark can be found somewhere. It comes with the original box and inserts and paperwork, all unused. Even if you can afford the
$150,000 or so that this gun in this condition would warrant if made in the

Colt Single Action Army 1873 in .45 Long Colt
We have just been consigned a very fine Colt 1873 SAA with 4 3/4" barrel and in .45 LC caliber. This gun with serial number 343642 is classed by collectors to be in the late smokeless powder range for 1920 to 1940. This particular revolver being made in 1922 still retains the "V" groove rear sight and Encircled Rampant Colt hard rubber grips, which remain in excellent condition and both being numbered to the frame. The serial number is only visible on the bottom front of the frame but is also marked under the grips and the cylinder rear is marked with "42" being
the last two digits, all of which is proper. The proper hammer configuration for this period is also present on this firearm and retains nearly all of its' original case coloring. The frame retains about 90% of the original case colors but is starting to thin on the high spots. Nearly 75 to 80% of the original bluing remains on barrel but some is browning and about 60% on
the ejector rod housing. The back-strap and trigger guard bluing is thinning and the butt area has had a blemish that appears to have been treated for protection some time ago
with cold blue. There are several spots of corrosion that have been cleaned as is common for a used firearm. Most of the screw heads are fine but several do show turnings. The front sight is completely original
as is all of this hard to find gun in this nice a condition.
I did find some dings on
bottom of butt that appear
to have been cleaned up and
a little cold blue added,
the Old Timer was probably
used for those "wanted
posters?" The barrel bore is excellent and there is the standard 2 line address.. I would rate this SAA overall at about 85% plus it is tight. This is not a pristine in the box revolver but it is one that is all original, in a great barrel length and in overall fine condition. They don't turn up like this that often
anymore and it will make a fine addition to any collection. Priced fairly at $5495.00. ... BUY NOW.

Colt Python .357 Magnum, Revolver with 6" Barrel,
Original Box
C00185 ... Colt Python Revolver in .357 Magnum caliber with six inch barrel that was manufactured in 1968 and is in like new condition. The serial number is 766xx and the same number is marked properly on the original Colt two piece wood grain box. The box is excellent with a few wear marks on the edges, no paperwork came with the gun and no accessories. The light colored walnut checkered grips are also excellent. The only thing I can say against the gun is a little discoloration on the bright hammer flats and a very little lead fouling in the throat of the
barrel which should
clean out with the proper solvent. I don't think this was used or handled much over its' nearly forty year history. Great gun, smooth as any Python should be, fine looking box, nice old collectable and they are
getting scarce. We have this fine offering priced at $xxxx.00 ... BUY NOW. FFL required but it is also on the C&R List. SOLD

The serial number is T73xxx and is referred to as the "Colt Combat Python" and it is marked as such on the barrel. It has fully checkered walnut grips which are perfect except for a small ding on right bottom. The finish is the high gloss blue and is perfect except three light scratches on left frame at bottom and behind cylinder. The bore and
chambers are clean and bright. A red insert is in the ramped front sight as is proper. This is a very nice gun in a very rare barrel length. Sorry, no box. See the thumbnails for better view. Colt 1873 Single Action Army Revolver BP 4 inch, .45 LC
C 0045... This 4 inch barrel revolver appears to be a Colt SAA Black Powder antique frame gun with serial number 92508, made in 1883. But some of it looks very crude in its' mfg. It has the early screw retainer for cylinder rod. It is chambered in .45LC and is marked on trigger guard and was being fired by the prior owner. The cylinder rear spacing has just enough room to allow half moon clips and 45ACP rounds. There seems to be traces of silver plating on the rear of cylinder. A vent rib with high front sight and adjustable rear sight has been added
to barrel with small screws. The extractor rod, housing and screw bushing have been removed and early faux stag grips added. The hammer appears to be cast, but possibly just showing signs of old pitting, of the early style and the hammer channel has a "J" inside. The gun
has heavy and deep crude engraving and named "Little Joe." I bought it in
Arizona last year. The holster fits perfectly and is subtle and deeply carved but unmarked. The Story;
While working and staying in the Lake Mead area while filming
"Bonanza", Hoss had this made for "Little Joe" Cartwright for a
birthday present! My
sister actually rented their condo to the film company at that time period! I put the story to
what I knew was true
and I bought the gun. If you don't like my story, make up your own but for the complete set I want $3995.00

Colt Concealed Hammer 1903 Pocket Models
HS1863 (Top Left) ... Colt 1903 Hammerless Pocket Model, the first of the concealed hammer semi-auto pistols made by Colt. Three safety mechanisms were incorporated even in this early model. A positive slide lock, a hammer block lever and a grip safety. The pistol was fairly flat and small for carrying yet comfortable in the hand. This particular pistol is chambered in .32ACP and
has a 3 3/4" barrel. The take down
is very simple for cleaning. The 8 round magazine has proper two tone bluing. The grips are the second variation hard rubber and right grip has small crack near screw grommet. The frame and slide serial numbers match and slide marking is of the first type with small imprint and separated segments. The frame has 90% original bright blue remaining, the slide has about 70%. The gun functions perfectly, bore is fine, overall still a functional and collectible Colt mfg. in 1917 with serial number 2632xx. We have priced this at $650.00. ... BUY
NOW ... FFL Required.
HS1715 (Top Right) ... Colt 1903 Hammerless Pocket Model, semi-auto pistol in .32ACP with 3 3/4" barrel with excellent checkered, walnut grips. Slide marking is of the second variation with two
lines and larger lettering and with magazine safety mechanism added, this is classed as Type IV. The inside of pistol is like new as is the proper two tone magazine. However, only about 60% of bright blue remains to exterior due to poor storage and probable subsequent cleaning. Here is a case where re-bluing could be in order but it is still a functional carry piece without. The serial number 4846xx matches frame and slide, manufactured in 1929 we've priced this at $xxx.00. ... BUY NOW ... FFL Required. SOLD
HS2115 (Bottom Left) ... Colt 1903 Hammerless Pocket Model, semi-auto pistol in .32ACP with 3 3/4" barrel, in full nickel
finish. Matching serial #3894xx on both the frame and slide with second variation slide marking, also number 34 on trigger guard. Has simulated ivory grips, hand checkered and fitted, with Cold Medallions, grip screw enters right to left. The finish is near new with five or six minute spots on slide and several dings near opposing hole of slide retainer. Portions of markings are light. Prior owner insists gun all original but my gut feeling it is an excellent refinish. I could be wrong but I am inclined to lean with experience. Even so, this is a very fine condition and in working order pistol that looks unused inside and
out. And, if I were to secure a harem and start a new business this would definitely be in the inventory. Mfg. in 1923 and priced at
$xxx.00. ... BUY NOW ...

 HS1474 (Bottom Right) ... Colt 1903 (AKA Model 1908) Hammerless Pocket Model, semi-auto pistol, .380ACP with 3 3/4" barrel,
with checkered walnut grips. Serial #906xx matches frame and slide, second variation of slide marking. Frame has 98% bright blue with thinning on grip safety and front strap. Some holster wear on slide reduces blue to around 85%. Fine bore, correct two tone magazine with .380 on bottom. Overall a fine condition, tight, collector model in excellent caliber. Manufactured in 1928, priced at $xxx.00. ... BUY NOW ...

It is classed as Model P- 1870. The condition of barrel is 99+%, case color on frame is 99%, the cylinder has a drag line and very slight edge wear so 98+%, back strap shows light wear, front strap and trigger guard shows
wear near trigger and edge of strap. The grips are like new except on the inside of left grip the grommet area has a piece missing from over tightening grip screw. It is not noticeable and irrelevant to function or looks. Overall this is a 99.4% gun and is priced at $2295.00 ... BUY NOW

Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, 1896 Mfg. First Generation .45LC
HS-1870 ... Colt Revolver, Single Action Army, Model 1873, First Generation and made in 1896. It has a 5 1/2" barrel, chambered in .45 Long Colt with case hardened frame and early stag-like grips with walnut spacers. The serial number is 174204. The widow of the prior owner states that the gun was returned to Colt for service in the mid 1950's but I can find no Colt markings to support this. The action is tight and crisp and there were some obvious improvements made. The barrel is marked "Colt Single Action Army .45" and the bore
is excellent. The cylinder has a rampant Colt marking on rear and appears to be replaced. The hammer is of the later period without outline of checkering and the frame screws are as new condition. The case coloring has a graying shade and the grip straps are also graying. The bottom of grip strap has a two line matching serial number and also some applied cross hatching. Overall the gun looks, feels and operates great. It is in the Antique serial range but still requires an FFL in most States. We have this excellent Peacemaker priced at $3895.00.

Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, 1900 Mfg. First Generation .44-40
HS-2018 ... Colt Revolver, Single Action Army, Model 1873, First Generation and made in 1900. It has a 5 1/2" barrel, chambered in .44-44 Win. with case hardened frame and blued barrel & cylinder. When I bought this gun from the owner back in 2000 I fully intended to use it in the Western Cowboy Action Shooting game that was becoming so popular. The fit of the grip seemed large enough for my hand and a perfect balance. The owner told me that this gun was sent to Turner Kirkland of Dixie
Gun Works in the late 1950's and he fitted an original 1860 Army grip and trigger guard to this 1900 SAA frame. Then the whole gun was refinished in blue and case coloring. The thumb nails will show the components. This is serial number 200106 with a standard 5 1/2" barrel. I'm still not entirely sure I should sell it 'cause I know some day I'll probably want to go Western and shoot this thing. For now, even with a little wear and some old screw buggering it
looks close to unfired condition since it came back from Tennessee 50 years ago. I want $3995.00 for it. ... BUY NOW.

Colt New Service US Model 1917 .45ACP
HS-2201 ... Colt New Service, US Army Model 1917, Double Action Revolver in .45ACP caliber. Six round, 5 1/2" barrel World War I era sidearm still retains about 95% of its' original Colt blue finish. Some wear on the right frame and thinning on the back strap make this an excellent condition military collectable. Lanyard ring and the bright hammer with fire blue back, also the visible polishing marks continue to show the originality of the finish. The edges are crisp and sharp but do
show finish wear. Many of these were refinished by the military or sold as surplus, this one is original. The 1918 manufacture also allows for the direct use of .45 ACP rounds as well as the using the standard half-moon clips that were developed for this
weapon. This serial number 153962 gun also has proper "H" inspector marks and "S20" on left rear frame. It is fitted with
brown plastic Colt grips with medallions. Overall a fine specimen and priced at $xxx.00. ... BUY NOW. SOLD

The kraft box package is insured for $200.00, which was quite a sum in the 1960's, and item is dated 5/13/66. A nice piece of Colt history for 1966 and of the Model 1873 Single Action
Style Revolver .22 Scout, slightly smaller than full size 1873 SA. Evidently Colt used outside sources to manufacture specific templates for them. We have priced this unusual item at $245.00 ... BUY NOW.
